 Capricorn
is an earth sign, with a strong connection to the material world. People born in
this month have a strong need for financial security. They believe only in what
their five senses convey and have trouble seeing beyond the apparent. Capricorn
represents the Right Column of the earth signs, which signifies that its
internal energy is water. This translates into the Capricorn’s helpful and
caring character.
Capricorns are family-oriented and have strong ties to the home. They are great
caretakers who can often lack faith in the Lightforce because they are easily
controlled by physical forces. They fear what tomorrow might bring and a

About the Month of Capricorn
The Book of Formation writes “who He crowned the letter Bet in life and made a
crown for it and created Saturn with it in the world and Sunday in the year and
the right eye in the Nefesh.” In the article “The Letters of Rav Hamnuna Saba”
in the Zohar it says how all the Hebrew letters came to the Creator, one by one,
asking Him to create the world with it. Each letter in the Hebrew alphabet it an
antenna to draw energy, with the positive or the negative side in her.
Eventually the Creator decided to create the world with the letter Bet which is
Blessing.
Saturn was created with the letter Bet that was given to it wisdom, even though
Saturn is the planet of destruction, since it has no desire for anything that
has to do with the body or the physical realm and that is why it cancels them.
The letter Ayin created Capricorn. Together we get a very energetic and powerful
combination, Ayin + Bet = the 72 Names of God which Moses used to split the Red
Sea. Ayin Bet correlates to the Tetragrammaton (Yud Hei Vav Hei) fully spelled
frequency of Chochmah [the fully spell Tetragrammaton has four frequencies:
Chochmah, Binah, Zeir Anpin and Malchut.
Tevet is one of the three negative month in the year, Tammuz (Cancer), Av (Leo)
and Tevet (Capricorn). On the Tenth day of this month started the siege around
the walls of Jerusalem, on the seventeen day of Tammuz, the walls of Jerusalem
were broken through and on the ninth day of Av happened the destruction of the
Temple. Tevet brings out and manifests all the negative energy of Saturn -
difficulties, pressures and problems of all kinds.
The conventional astrology says Capricorn and people born under this sign are
coming to difficult lives, problems, particularly very hard destinies, life of
struggle and many challenges, but like in everything we study in Kabbalah, there
is a paradox here. The more we are willing to take upon ourselves the hard
destiny, the hard labor, overcoming all the obstacles - then we are getting
stronger, by ambition, determination, hard labor and persistence we can overcome
all the difficulties, that is why its known that the older the Capricorn gets -
life become easier and better.
There is no question that Capricorn, an earth sign, gives a very strong
connection to the physical and material world, to world of the five senses, the

limitations of the five senses and the material world, we can get to the desire

celebrate Chanukah in the first two days of the month. There is continuation of
the Light and the energy of miracles and wonders from the month of Sagittarius
to Capricorn. The energy of Chanukah with the letter Samech and Gimel, which the
fully spelled Tetragrammaton in the frequency of Binah, together with the
letters Ayin Bet in the frequency of Chochmah, we get a very powerful
combination of Ayin - Bet with Samech - Gimel, that enables us to maximum the
connection to the light of Chanukah, the energy of miracles and wonders through
doing, actions we willingly do without waiting for favors from others, without
expecting someone else to solve our problems.
Rabbi Isacc Luria - the Ari explains that the miracle of Chanukah happened
because of Itaruta diltata - awaking from below, the actions we do in the
physical world, the power we awaken is by doing, this is what causes miracles to
happen.
Capricorn points out the need of actions and work, responsibility, maturity, and
when the work is done the positive result will come. The eight candle of
Chanukah is the manifestation of all the light of Binah - in Tevet the month of
Chochmah, and this energy enables us to go through the whole month of Tevet
peacefully.
