The
Book of Formation says, “He crowned the letter Hei and created with it Aries in
the world, Nissan in the Year and the right hand in the soul. He crowned the
letter Dalet and created with it the planet Mars.”
In fact, Nissan is the original head of the year according to the Torah. This is
the month Moses took the Nation of Israel out of Egypt. But according to the
lunar calendar, Libra/Tishrei is the head of the year. The answer is that there
are two head to the year, one for the Light and one for the vessels. Nissan is
the head of the year for the Light.
The cosmic event that took place on this month is the great Exodus, when the
Israelites were bound to the 49 levels of negativity and impurity, the biggest
Desire to Receive for oneself alone, and left this bondage to freedom from
chaos.
It seems that the story of the Exodus is about a nation forced into bondage in
Egypt, repressed by the Egyptian people who enslaved them. Looking at the
Biblical story, it seems that the nation Moses took out of Egypt complains all
the time (during forty years in the desert), remembering the good times they had
in Egypt and the good food given to them by the Egyptians.
The letter Hei is the DNA of Aries and the month of Nissan. This letter has the
power to create miracles. This is part of the Biblical story of Abram and Sarai,
who could not bare children until the Creator changed their names by adding the
letter Hei, making Abram Abraham and Sarai Sarah. The letter Hei has the ability
to connect to Mind Over Matter.
The letter Dalet that created Mars, the planet of war, is the tyrannical ruler
of Aries (and Scorpio as well).
Moses knew that in the month of Nissan/Aries, being a fire sign with Mars as
ruler of the month, you can take advantage of Mars energy and power in order to
wage war on the negative power of Egypt, meaning the negative power of the
absolute Desire to Receive for oneself alone on the negative side. Break free of
addictions to anything that keeps us in bondage, go out from slavery to freedom.
Each year on the 15th day of Nissan, when the moon is full and the energy is at
its peak, we are able to take true control over our lives, to break free to a
place of true freedom from all forms of chaos. Whether you feel out of control,
unfulfilled, dissatisfied, unsupported, lost doubtful weak-minded, ill,
financially insecure, or even if you feel that you are in control and everything
is okay, do you know what will happen tomorrow?
The study of Kabbalah provides us with the tools and technology to take complete
control of a full year, removing all chaos from our lives.
From the 14th of Nissan, the cosmic time of the Exodus, until seven days after
on 21st of Nissan (the day that Moses split the Red Sea) is a cosmic time to
brake our Klipot (shells) of negativity, our barriers, and to do what seems
impossible – to create real miracles in our lives. There is nothing more
powerful then the consciousness of Mind Over Matter.
The day after Passover begins, we start a period of 49 days known as Counting of
the Omer. These days provide us with the environment we need to work and build a
positive consciousness to remove any negative actions we did and harmed in this
life time or previous reincarnations, thereby aiding us in earning the Light we
received for free on Passover. During these 7 weeks, we earn the freedom of
chaos we caused with our negative actions and consciousness. This process ends
on the Holiday of Shavuot – the Receiving of the Torah. (From the book Windows
in Time by Rav Berg).
Aries, a fire sign, is the first sign of the zodiac. Aries is the baby of the
zodiac, so it is understandable that Aries is like a baby that is born with only
the desire for survival. That where the Aries “I” comes from: I want, I know, I
have to, give me, me, me, and again me.
Aries are known for their ego and their big Desire to Receive. But at the same
time Aries is a fire sign with an inner energy of water, being the Right Column
of the fire signs, meaning he has good heart that reveals itself in important
moments of life.
Mars, which rules Aries, is the planet of war. This is the reason Aries is so
“glad” to fight. Aries like sports and has perseverance. He does not give up,
fighting for his rights, but at the same time can be childish, naïve and refuse
to grow old.
Aries is a sign of initiative, competition, and ambition to be the first and the
best of all. They can be enthusiastic from at the beginning, but very bad at
finishing what they start. They think fast, act impulsively and without
restriction, because everything is about now.
It fits Aries to be the pioneer, the enterpriser, to dare and start things no
one else dares. They excel as soldiers, officers, policeman, and in professions
with physical power. As managers or inspectors, they are born leaders. Aries
will volunteer for any special operation that requires courage, daring and
resourcefulness; there is no such word as failure or falling in their
vocabulary. They are very sure of themselves, and that is the reason they
succeed.
Aries gets along with the fire and air signs, for business and marriage. It is
not so easy for them to be with water and earth signs, and especially hard with
Scorpio and Virgo.
The correction of Aries is self-control, not to be so impulsive, not to start
what you cannot finish, not to jump to conclusions and say the first thing that
comes to your head. Think twice, and about other people, not only what you can
get from them, but what you have to give!
A big part of anyone's spiritual journey of transformation is to get to know
themselves for who they really are, and understand and accept the unique
combination of their personality and traits. Learning what your sign means can
give you an important and valuable insight as to what your biggest challenge is,
so that you can transform it and uncover your biggest gift to the world, which
is, simply put, the other side of the same coin.
